{Kid's Co-Op} 8 Creative Ways to Paint

We've been having lots of fun painting lately, ranging from traditional water colors and tempura to painting with homemade finger paints to really creative painting using recycled materials, scooters, bicycles and so much else. Given that, all of the very cool painting activities from The Kid's Co-Op last week really jumped out at me. I plan to take advantage of summer art time and try them all!

Many of the painting activities shared involve getting outdoors, which is our favorite way to paint (makes clean up so much easier!). I really loved Painting Outside with Homemade Paint from Mummy Musings and Mayheim, and the awesome Tire Swing Pendulum Painting Activity from Housing A Forest. Plus, we linked up our Bicycle Painting Activity last week too.

Other great painting ideas, that can be done indoors or outside, are the Gooey Color Paint Explorations (perfect for babies and young tots) from Powerful Mothering, Face Print Painting from Paint on the Ceiling, and Painting with Feathers from Stir the Wonder.

Plus, this week I will be linking up our recent post about using Recycled Milk Caps for art, play and learning activities. The post includes a recent "painting inside a box" activity we did using milk caps and toilet paper rolls rather than paint brushes!

I also loved the Handmade Fun Post Mummy Musings and Mayhem shared last week as her picks from The Kid's Co-Op!

Now, it's your turn - how have you been playing this week? What are your favorite ways to paint? Link-Up and Play! (P.S. Did you know there is a Kid's Co-Op Pinboard? Follow it to make sure you don't miss out on any fun ideas from The Kid's Co-Op!)
